Name: UPP Porous Membrane (High-strength)


Type: Single-layer porous film

Material: 100% UHMW-POF (ultra-high molecular weight polyolefin)

Strength: TD > 20 MPa, MD > 60 MPa

Molecular Chain: Primarily propylene based, with a long main chain and multiple branches in an orderly, directional arrangement.

Temperature: Melting point: 136°C, recommended long-term operating temperature: < 80°C.

Chemical: Resistant to common acid and alkali corrosion, good solvent wettability,minimal swelling (not suitable for aliphatic and aromatic   hydrocarbons).

Weldability: Adhesive bonding, hot melt lamination, and ultrasonic welding.

Microstructure: Relatively uniform, with asymmetric dislocations and tortuous channels.

Pore Size Range: 30-50 nm

Porosity Range: 50-65%

Advantages and Applications:


1. The surface can be coated, replacing traditional nonwoven and woven fabrics in the manufacture of NF and VOCs pervaporation membranes. The coating has

uniform pores and is not prone to collapse, cracking, or peeling.


2. The molecular chains can be grafted, the mechanical properties are resistant to radiation damage. This allows for the manufacture of single-layer homogeneous

ion exchange membranes, ion separation membranes, and charged sieving membranes, while also exhibiting excellent hydrophilicity, chargeability, and airtightness.


3. It can be modified to be oleophobic, creating a high-grade waterproof and oil-proof breathable membrane with high water pressure resistance, dustproofness,   excellent pollution resistance.


4. It can be modified to be hydrophilic, creating a highpressure nanoporous filter membrane with high flow , high retention accuracy, and min variability, filling a

market gap.
