HHSTECH transformer gas detection and sensing film is a film material used to detect gas escape inside power transformers. It can detect various gases generated inside the transformer, such as hydrogen (H₂), hydrocarbons (CxHy) and arc discharge processes. It can continuously monitor the gases dissolved in the transformer oil and check the health of the transformer in real time, which helps to improve the reliability of the transformer, reduce maintenance costs and extend the service life of the equipment.

Application: Online monitoring of dissolved gases in transformer oil (DGA)

Transformer type: oil-immersed,

Target gas: H₂/CO/CO₂/C₂H₄/CH₄/C₂H₄/C₂H₆,, water vapor,

Degassing method: headspace, semi-permeable membrane osmotic degassing

Monitoring method: online detection, continuous or intermittent.

Membrane functions: oil & gas separation, oleophobic, selective microporousbreathability.

Performance: (compared to conventionalnon-microporous dense semipermeable membranes, such as AF2000)

1.Superoleophobicity:

The contact angle between the oil and the film surface is>135 degrees,

Film will not be wetted and affect its breathability.

Spherical oil droplets make point-like contact with the membranesurface, forming an overhead area through which gas can pass more easily.

2. Microporous structure: (MF/NF level pore size)

Liquid oil cannot pass through it, only gas can.

Low resistance, 5-10 times higher breathability,

Gas concentration equilibrium time on both sides of the membraneis <1 minute.

Monitoring data error <5%.

3. Ultra-high molecular weight materials: (UHMW>1000K)

High mechanical strength and self-supporting properties, verysmall deformation,

High & low temperature impact resistance, aging andembrittlement time >1 year

Resistance to chemical corrosion and microbial decompositiontime >1 year

4. Insulation

Good insulation and little resistance to arc damage.
